Greyhound

Go Where the Music Takes You

The Greyhound bus is an iconic symbol, a freedom motif, in an expansive discography of classic Americana songs. To honor the cultural impact of Greyhound in music, we're transforming it into a roaming homage to its inspirational sound.

OOH

We’re turning song lyrics into out of home advertisements to demonstrate the prevalence of our favorite bus in American songwriting.

Rolling Records Studio

We're giving the next generation of lyricists the chance to produce Greyhound's next hit on Rolling Records Studio, because it's been a while since our wheels rolled to the top of the charts. The only caveat, songwriters have to weave “Greyhound” into their lyrics.

Rolling Records Sessions

During their recording session, musicians can document the production process of their Greyhound sound. Sessions will be streamable on music platforms and available to watch on Youtube and socials.

Feat. The Open Road

Each song produced on Rolling Records will organically adopt the sounds of bus stop squeaks and hushed passenger chatter, so Greyhound’s discography will live on the Spotify feature artist’s profile: “The Open Road.”

The Sound Hound Festival

We're taking this celebration to the open road!

Our regional line-based music festival will tour Greyhound stations across the United States, featuring lineups of famous and local artists whose music channels the freedom our buses personify.

Box Offices

At Greyhound ticketing windows, or box offices, passengers can purchase their Sound Hound Festival tickets.

Greyhound Groupie Goods

To make the ride between each lineup even more comfortable, we made travel merch for Greyhound groupies!

The Hudson River Line

If you can’t make it to one of the festival stops, you can still be part of the music by hopping on the Hudson River Line. Inspired by Billy Joel’s famous lyric, we’re transforming a bus into a concert venue that travels Manhattan's seven-mile Hudson River waterfront.

One may wonder how many songs actually mention Greyhound, and to that I will say the limit does not exist. This is only the tip of the berg, my friends.

Thanks for riding with us, Sound Hounds!
